What does the job include?
Are you a passionate chef with a love for hospitality and experience in a classic brasserie kitchen? Then this is your opportunity to become part of the beautiful The College Hotel and our restaurant The Dean, including our Bar & Bistro, where culinary excellence and coaching come together. As Head Chef, you are responsible for the day-to-day kitchen operations at The Dean, Bar & Bistro. You are hands-on in the kitchen, actively working with your team and leading by example. You also play an important role in coaching and supervising students and trainees, helping them develop their skills in a real hospitality environment.

Your role includes:
✔️ Managing, coaching, and developing your kitchen team and hospitality students
✔️ Overseeing the kitchen operations in both The Dean Restaurant and Bar & Bistro
✔️ Ensuring daily operations run smoothly according to brand and service standards
✔️ Working closely with other departments for a seamless guest experience
✔️ Taking responsibility for food quality, hygiene (HACCP), stock control, and cost efficiency
✔️ Actively contributing to menu development with fresh ideas and seasonal products
✔️ Motivating the team to deliver a consistent “WOW” experience
